RAW CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Who is up for Saturday baking?


I have a yummy recipe for you guys that takes minutes to prepare and requires a few ingredients.


I bake them quite often, as my little girl is a big fan of cookies.


But, I always carefully select my own ingredients and stay well away from the grocery cookies, which are full of refined sugar and other nasties ingredients.


Ingredients:

🔸️3tbsp almond butter

🔸️1/3cup raw vegan chocolate powder

🔸️3tbsp maple syrup

🔸️pinch of Himalayan salt

🔸️1/4 tbsp baking powder

🔸️2 tbsp raw vegan chocolate chips

🔸️3/4 cup buckwheat flour

🔸️1 egg or 1 chia egg


Method:

Combine almond butter and raw cacao powder first. Then add salt, baking soda, and maple syrup.

Slowly add egg or chia egg IP. Mix until combined, then add flour. Add raw chocolate chips.

With a cookie scoop, drop dough onto a baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a spatula or fork to form into a round cookie. Bake In the oven for 10-12mins at 180C.
